Feldenkrais is gentle, slow explorative movements that make the brain more intelligent in sensing your habits in movement and thinking; regardless of your condition’s complexity, physical/emotional, severity or duration. Many of the physical limitations that are wrongly attributed to age are a result of lack of use, habits, and self-protective muscle patterns. Habits can change at any age through a gradual process of retraining basic movements. Balance, flexibility, posture, gait and fluidity of movement can all be improved, so too your capacity to concentrate and communicate. Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement lessons are specifically designed to help people keep mentally and physically flexible at any age. The method is also very well suited to assisting elite athletes and musicians improve performance.
