    8 February, 2023

Our world seems to be changing rapidly.  Are we making headway on climate change?  Why are electricity  prices going up?  Can 100% wind and solar power do the job?  What are the experiences in other countries but is Australia different?  Does nuclear have anything to offer or is it too expensive and too slow to build?  Who makes the world's batteries?  How much mining will be needed? All of these vexed questions need answers.  Pamela will attempt to provide data on at least some of thjese questions. Expect lots of debate.  Part 1 of a 2-part presentation by Pamela Jones.
