Click on any activity of interest for information such as venue, a map of the location and any further upcoming dates. To change months, click the right or left arrows. Colours denote the different categories. Select a category/subject (below the calendar) to show only those activities. If blank, then none are scheduled.

To see a list of activities, click on the List button in the top left of the calendar, or go to the 2024 Program tab.

To print, select “Print” below the Calendar. See Tech Tips for more ways to print the Calendar and add activities to your smartphone and computer calendars. For the tech savvy, click on the relevant link (Outlook or Google), or download the relevant ics file from the icons below the Calendar.

    Group members will be given a target list of 15 sites or locations in the local area to explore, photograph or draw, research and record their findings.
    Meeting will be monthly to reveal who has been where. Members will give a talk about where they went and what they researched about the place they chose to explore.  Meeting on the first Tuesday of each month.  Please enrol online if you are interested in joining this group.

    Further talks on major thinkers from Greek antiquity. We will trace the differences of approach taken by these philosophers down to the present day, particularly in relation to ethics. We will then open up the discussion to enable comparing approaches to the getting and attainment of wisdom advocated by a range of other historical and cultural groups (e.g. Hebrew, Roman, Christian, Taoist, Confucian, Buddhist, Indigenous). If you have any input about Greek and other ancient or modern cultures, please bring it along for discussion.

    U3A Network Victoria with its partners are holding 10 online sessions, one each 3rd Wednesday of the month, to provide a range of topics such as how to stay safe online, taking advantage of new technologies, what is AI, and many other topics.

    The topic in June is E Commerce and safely banking and shopping online.

    This will be the first time the video conferencing equipment in Room 22 has actually been used to present a teaching and learning seminar. Previously it had only been used for meetings. All going well, we will present the remaining four seminars, which will be:

    Sep 18, 2024 10:00 AM - Taking advantage of Health Solutions in the digital world.

    Oct 16, 2024 10:00 AM - Safe use of Social Media and sharing interests with friends.
